Registration and Introduction to BAIZONN

Before we begin the main event, we will handle the registration of the people who have booked at least a week before the main event, where we put all of you in groups based on your education level.

In the event itself, you will have the opportunity to know our study culture and how we do things here. You will get to hang around with your same-level peers as you tour around our campus.

By the end of it all, your group leaders will monitor how your group as a whole have done throughout the event. More details in the Conclusion later.

Ice Breakers

To strengthen your bond amongst your peers, we have provided some amazing activities to get you into the mood of strengthening your Mathematics and Science principles. Depending on the trial class you will have after each ice-breaker, we will complete a certain activity within the list for each subject.

Here is the list:

  • Math:
    • Go Math — A variation of Go Fish where you have to answer the Math question of whoever has the card to steal it from them.
    • Mathpictionary — Pictionary for Math concepts
  • Science:
    • Science Game — A variation of Squid game where, in every round, students are asked random questions in a random topic. The one with lowest score per round is eliminated from the next round. The last one standing wins.
    • Science Charades — Similar to Mathpictionary, but for Science-related concepts.

Trial Classes

After each ice breaker, the meats and potatoes of the whole event arrives. The group will attend a trail class for each subject within the timetable. Granted, it is only an hour and a half, not the full two hours, but it is good enough for a short class that focuses on the classroom culture and the Q&A regarding how our teachers in Baizonn Learning teach and how our students learn.

Here are the subjects that are assigned to each group type:

  • Slot 1 (4pm to 5.30pm):
    • Primary/JC — Math
    • Secondary/Advanced — Science
  • Slot 2 (6pm to 7.30pm):
    • Primary/JC — Math
    • Secondary/Advanced — Science

Christmas Dinner

After all the fun and learning, we will celebrate Christmas two days in advance by hosting a Christmas dinner! We have multiple options, notably the Standard Menu (Turkey, Fillet Steak etc.) along with vegetarian alternatives (Roaster Parsnip Wreath, Butternut Squash Wellingtons, etc.). Please mention your diet preference when booking.

Conclusion and Souvenir Giveaway

We will wrap it up by giving away our brand new Baizonn Learning Center T-shirt that you can wear with pride. It comes with different sizes (XS to XL), which you will denote when booking for the event.

As for the conclusion, after tallying the scores, the group with the highest score will get a *SECRET REWARD*! You will find out if you have been actively participating.
